How to install your eSIM
Three ways — one tap, QR code, or manual entry. Takes under a minute.
Installation methods
On the order page tap “Install” — your phone opens the eSIM setup itself. iPhone (iOS 17.4+) and most Android 10+.
Open the QR from your order on another screen and scan it with your phone’s camera in eSIM settings.
No camera handy? Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your order manually.
Before you start
- 📶You need Wi-Fi — installation downloads the eSIM profile.
- 🗓️Install ahead of time, at home. For most plans the validity starts on first network connection in the destination, not at install.
- 🚫Don’t delete the eSIM after install — the same profile can’t be downloaded twice.
Step by step for your device
- 1Open the order page and tap “Install on this device” — or Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM.
- 2Choose “Use QR Code” and scan the QR from your order (or tap “Enter Details Manually”).
- 3Confirm adding the cellular plan and wait for activation.
- 4Under Cellular, enable “Cellular Data” and “Data Roaming” for the eSIM (normal for eSIM — no extra charge).

If QR install isn’t available, any phone lets you enter the details manually. Both values are on your order page and in the email:

Does my phone support eSIM?
Dial *#06# — if you see an EID line, your phone supports eSIM. That covers most iPhone XS and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and Google Pixel 3 and newer.
What if it says “Could not activate eSIM”?
Check your Wi-Fi connection and try again. If the profile is already added, don’t rescan the QR code — just enable the eSIM in settings.
What if there is no internet after installing the eSIM?
Turn on “Cellular Data” and “Data Roaming” for the eSIM, select it as the data line and restart your phone.
Can I install an eSIM without a QR code?
Yes. Any phone lets you enter the details manually: the SM-DP+ address and activation code are on your order page and in the email.
